Olives - Luxor

The service at olives by hilton was really great. especially moustafa ahmed. moustafa was really nice. we traveled with my opa (93 y 87) he was really niche with them, always trying to help them and serve them. moustafa is a real example that is the Egyptian folk. the best at moustafa and the rest of the crew at olives. I hope next time I come here, moustafa has a better position. he really deserves it.

Friendly staff, fast service, nice view over the nil, large selection of food but good quality menu. both western and Egyptian options. here several times over a 3 days stay.

For a hotel restaurant it is actually quite good! I was surprised when my other hotel experiences in Egypt were terrible about eating (5).* the fish was great, the prices are what they are in a 5* hotel, but the location is nice and the eating was pleasant. the service is very professional, they are very nice, respectful. said the manager was extremely polite at the time and made us feel at home, he was generous, welcoming and also not over, it felt real. thank you again sayed! if they don't feel the feeling of leaving their hotel, olives is a good choice.

Ok food but absolutely terrible service, expecting tips before even bringing your food, plus then automatically charging you “service fee”

The setting is beautiful but the food is just bad. Not even average but bad. My daughter’s chicken nuggets were actually raw luckily I noticed the pink colour after one bite. None of the dishes were as per the menu (missing bread or salad or sides). Chicken shish was beyond dry and totally unseasoned without the advertised bread or sides. We sent it back as was told it was dry because it was chicken breast and there was nothing they could do. On a second attempt it was much better and seasoned, with the sides advertised and not as dry. Such a shame as we would have had had lunch here every day while staying at the Hilton as it was so convenient but instead we never went back
