Beim Renert - Luxembourg

Cool gastropub. I told them I was lactose egg intolerant and they hooked me up with some additional bread. Limited inside seating so I would recommend making a reservation.

We love this bar and the staff is top notch. Language barrier is not a problem. This MY Luxembourg bar always and forever!!! Thank you for the fun, we will be back. Not soon enough.

All reasonably well, except for a very unpleasant experience when we asked to split the bill and the waiter insisted, quite impolitely, to pay everything at once...even if we were a table of 10...

We tried to have a drink after our dinner. We were 5 adults and a toddler. When we arrived the waiter was busy so we put two tables together to fit all of us. The waiter came to us, and without a great omg or anything, directly asked if we had done it (putting the tables together) and we said yes. He asked if we needed the two tables and we said yes. He proceeded to drag one of the tables away from us and leaving two of us awkwardly seated in-between two tables. He then proceeded to spray the tables (and our faces) with the cleaning product and wipe the tables. He then dropped one of the ashtrays on the table and spilled the disgusting Brown liquid mixed with ashes and tobacco on the table... And then walked away. It was evident that we were not welcome there so we decided to leave as our waiter and female colleague laughed at us from the entrance.

Authentic Luxembourg locals bistro. Giordano, the bartender/waiter was very informative about local culture. Nice to hear Luxembourgois being spoken around us. Hearty food, great beer and spirits.
