Triple Crown Bbq - Luray

I would give this restaurant two stars for pricing. The pulled pork didn’t meet my expectations, while the beef was better, though it wasn’t always in stock. Additionally, the beef is served cold, so you'll need to reheat it at home if you prefer it hot!

This place is AMAZING! We couldn't be happier with the service and food at Triple Crown! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. We called ahead to ensure we wouldn't arrive too close to closing time, and the person we spoke with was very kind, informing us about what they had available before we arrived. My partner and I ordered a half rack of ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, and corn muffins, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Coming from the city, we were initially quite disappointed with the food options in Luray, but we were pleasantly surprised by our experience here!

However, the real star of the show is the bun. Most BBQ or smoked meat sandwiches are served on pretty standard rolls, but I don’t know where Triple Crown gets theirs – it was by far the best sandwich bun I’ve ever had! It's soft and fluffy, not dry or crumbly, and truly elevated the sandwich experience. Take my advice: get one to go and heat it up a bit before you eat. You won’t regret it!

Wow. This might be the best pulled pork I've ever had (and I've had quite a bit). The baked beans and potato salad were excellent as well. I have no complaints at all!
