Deep Forest Garden Inn

Hotel was nice, beautiful, pool was always clean. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and they have a restaurant. Staff is super friendly, always ready to help with the tours, transportation or tips for traveling. We really enjoyed the stay, thank you for everything.

Great restaurant with a charming old-fashioned decor that I really appreciated, especially the beautiful carvings. The breakfast options were enjoyable, giving you the choice to either select from a menu or customize your meal. The pool is lovely, and the resort's secluded location makes you truly feel immersed in the jungle ambiance.

I fell in love with this place! It's relatively affordable, and you get a nice room along with a pool! The restaurant was decent.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the level of service leaves something to be desired. The mini-split air conditioning is a pleasant change, and the rooms are large and quiet, with great hot water and good water pressure—though my shower could have been an exception. However, there are some drawbacks. Your room key is permanently attached to a small wooden block that you have to leave at the front desk every time you head out, which is only open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The swimming pool features bar stools around a small bar area, but unfortunately, the bar is closed and seems abandoned. The stools just end up inviting people to linger and drink by the pool. If you're looking for coffee, be prepared to pay over a dollar for a tiny cup. I waited ten minutes for service, then asked at the front desk, only to be told I needed to wait for service. After another ten minutes, I still had not been served.
