Eli's Espresso - Lunenburg

We stopped in Mahone Bay after leaving Lunenburg for a little shopping. We were looking for some place to have a late breakfast and found Eli's Espresso. They have an all day breakfast (BONUS!). We ordered our food: Belgian Waffle with blueberries and maple syrup and a large Cappuccino for me, and the Egg, Ham, Hash brown, toast breakfast with green tea for my boyfriend. We found a lovely spot on the patio where we had a great view of the comings and goings of Mahone Bay and they brought our meal out to us. WOW! Very generous portions and so delicious! They even had mini Canada flags in the food which we thought was a cute touch! The cappuccino was yummy and soooo large! We definitely recommend stopping at Eli's if you are looking for some great food and great atmosphere!

Late afternoon coffees and cake. All tasty. Picked up some Kicking Horse Coffee which they always have on hand.

For those of you that consider yourself coffee aficionados and know Kicking Horse coffee, this is the place to visit. For the limited number of establishments that carry Kicking Horse as their coffee, you are doing yourself an injustice by not carrying this Canadian brand. I don't mean to take away from the review of Eli's, but this cafe is stellar buoyed by the fact that they do serve Kicking Horse. I ordered a dark roast coffee and my wife ordered a bagel with a tea. The bagel was oversized, served with a very generous portion of cream cheese and very fresh.The coffee was robust, earthy, had depth and was fresh. The service in typical Nova Scotia fashion was friendly and a genuine openness from the staff was apparent.

Stopped here with my friend for a tea and an iced coffee (that was so good it turned into two); one issue, we had two little dogs with us. The staff were great, brought a little bowl of water out for the pooches.

Nice place , with outside seating too - not open long hours but good for breakfast and lunch. Tasty food done fresh, more snax and sandwiches. Has a cool wall with famous people have signed it including Dame Judy Dench - some quirky artwork and good coffee.
