Embers Pizzeria - Lunenburg

We ordered pizza from this place for the first time last night, and we were really impressed! We tried the veggie pie and the fig and prosciutto pizza, and both were cooked to perfection. This is definitely the best pizza around! I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly servers. Next time, I plan to enjoy a cocktail at the bar and sit outside to take in the sunset over the water.

We went to Embers on a Wed afternoon and it was perfect! I starved, we ordered their special big pizza and “split” it have two different types, cheeseburgers and meat Lasagna. Let me just say it was one of the best pizzas I ever had! The Burger side tasted like a Big Mac, but better and the Lasagne side was delicious and fleshy with many ricotta, burger and sausage! All ingredients were fresh on a thin and crispy crust. The service was great and the drinks were on the spot! We're going to return. We also sat at the bar, but you can also sit at a table in or outside the lakeside. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food and atmosphere are fantastic. My favorite dish is the eggplant lasagna—it's my go-to meal every time.

The food took about 20 minutes to arrive, and by that time, my in-laws still hadn't received their pizza. My wife and I finished our sandwiches well before the pizza finally came. In total, it took over an hour to receive a pizza, which is the longest I've ever had to wait for one, regardless of the type—be it deep dish, brick oven, or otherwise. The bill came to over $100, and while the food was just average, the long wait time left a bad impression. I definitely won’t be returning to this restaurant.

The stir fry is not marked as spicy on the menu, but after just two bites, it turned out to be too hot to eat. I informed the manager, who rudely stated that they don’t issue refunds simply because you don’t like a dish. The meal was clearly untouched, yet she took it away. However, she did comp the appetizer. At our table, one burger was overcooked, and another person had to pay a $2 surcharge just to get fries. We won’t be returning.
