Contribuiți la feedbackI go to Lugo every year, and eat in very many different places. Went with a group on a Sunday for lunch in june, and found the service to be poor. The food was not served together, we had to ask for beverage a few times and I think my food tasted funny. The service was totally awkward, and the prices were a little on the high side. On the positive side the decore of the restaurante is nice.
A unique atmosphere, with huge barrels used as tables and with tables inside, and fancy lights. The staff very friendly and attentive, and the food is superb. The octopus (in spanish pulpo) it is one of the best I had ever tasted. Very good seafood and also nice meat. Just choose, but I suggest the pulpo à feira , also known as pulpo à gallega .
As you enter you would directly a unique atmosphere, peoples sitting in tables decorated as if they were inside a gigantic barrel. Three stories high, next to the Lugo bus station. Food was delicious especially the pulpo. They had the traditional pulpo dish with cheese which was different from other pulpo I have tasted before. I ate a fish dish which was really tasty with white wine and ended up with cheese and carne de membrillo (jelly like) and chocolate cake. One of the waitress could speak all sorts of language from Italian to English, so visitors wouldn't have to worry. You will also get the typical galician bread with it. In the end I ended paying 16 euros but it was so worth it.
Excelente....
