Belvedere - Lugano

We didn't take the fondue like most of the guest. We had chicken which was quite tasty and the place is nice and cosy too.

I live nearby, I'm one of their regular customer. This place had a very good fondue, the food was great, the service was very good etc. But since there the European economic crisis everything went donwstaris. ___________________________________________________________________ The crucial thing to know about this place, is that the food is extremely inconsistent. ___________________________________________________________________ As of right now, the fondue is very poor, usually they give you good meat for the first service, then they switch for rubbery meat (I suppose is from leftovers) even the fries are not always the same! It's kinda sad, if you went there in the old days it was always completely filled, and everyone had a good time and the food was consistent. Now it's always empty, the service is a bit slow even though you are the only customer there the food is extremely poor. If you are looking for a nice place where you can share a good fondue with friends or family or the loved one, just DON'T go there. If you are looking for a business meeting and you are looking at this page you are insane. I admit that and really sad to write a review so hard against the restaurant Unfortunately this is the most truthful review I can think of

The restaurant is simple and traditionally furnished, if not basic. nice but the table with lake view, great service and excellent food quality: we ordered the fondue chinoise and eaten at will very thin meat accompanied by a selection of sauces, rice, salad and crispy fries. after all that meat we couldn't taste the desserts. Maybe next time!

At the restaurant belvedere the specialty is definitely the fondue chinoise, served in abundant quantity (at will in the true sense of the word) and in excellent quality. the accompanying sauces are many and all excellent.

Is located on the road that leads to tiles place pleasant prices honest and a classic dish the chinoise beef to be baked in the broth. definitely to try. very good chicken too.
