Contribuiți la feedbackTHE RESTAURANT The restaurant is located a bit from the main road and lies directly on a beautiful lake. There is a huge house with many windows over a bridge. Behind it is located directly the forest where you can go. The restaurant will enter a staircase and has hardly changed in the 25 years. There is a bowling area with several tables on the front. Everything is kept quite in old pink and friendly tones. There are more places to go back, but they are for reservations and larger groups if I remember correctly. We always sat before us. It is loving, cozy and you almost always have a view of the lake. I can make a reservation in the heart. We stayed there on a Thursday night and the place was more than well visited. If you want to go to the number, only on weekends, you should book. The audience was mixed colourfully. Couples, smaller and larger groups, families. PRICES Prices are high on average. We have paid over 70€ for water, a soft drink, appetizer and main dishes. The toilets are clean and make a reasonable impression. After we arrived, we received the menus and the recommendation of the house orally presented. It's personal, sympathetic, but on a board you could get the whole thing through your head. After our order, it didn't take five minutes until we got our drinks and shortly afterwards a greeting from the kitchen. Gänseschmalz with very delicious bread. The Lard was a bit sober, but with a pinch of salt really delicious. The bread is refilled upon request. [here link] The appetizer lasted about 10 minutes and was a variation of different regional appetizers. Salmon, quail eggs, caviar and much more. The middle of a very tasty, colorful mixed salad was crowned. Everything was cold and ideal to get an impression from the restaurant. 20 minutes later the carving came. Gold yellow, thin and it is the first time that the panade tasted delicious. There is no finished panier meal here, but that of the baker, as we said on request. Very good. Not only the color and width, but also the taste itself. Perfectly seasoned. Maybe. I could have done a little beer sauce or the like, although the lemon was completely enough. There were crispy and very well seasoned roast potatoes and the same mixed salad we had to taste before. Here I would have expected a little difference if I were honest. At least if this salad was already served in advance. It's delicious, no question, but at least we wanted to change something. Perhaps, as a suggestion for the cook in such cases, add some changes and for example only to give the delicious cucumber salad or a somewhat different mixture. [here link] Anyway, it was so good that I felt all around happy and comfortable. It was as beautiful and tasty as in my childhood. There are still the same dishes. The whole place speaks for itself. My thumb always goes up.

Pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, duck and duck breast would have had to stay a little longer in the oven. Feish was very difficult to get rid of the bone.

We know the forest house very long and have once again been confirmed that it is a really good restaurant. The food and especially the service with a qualified waiter was simply great. We are happy to come back
