Café Erdapfel - Luebeck

On the way to our holiday in the Baltic Sea in Dierhagen we had a stay in Lübeck with accommodation in the centrally located Motel One. In advance, of course, I asked NoTeaForMe for advice, which restaurants are recommended near the hotel. And again he gave competent information! And again a great thank you! After a busy trip we had a great desire for storage and many trucks after check-in: coffee and that immediately, but not necessarily in the hotel lobby. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel, Café Erdapfel, also recommended by NTFM, is not necessarily due to coffee specialities, but because of the kiln potatoes Kumpir. When we came to the café, there were many guests. The facility is simple and gripping in bistro style. The tables are nearby, you can quickly contact the table neighbors if you want. In service, young people work, who do their service kindly, flinkly and diligently. We ordered milk coffee, without cake, without potatoes, without pastries, because it was already later afternoon and we had ordered a table in the neighboring restaurant Merhaba report. The milk coffee was a small one for 2,90 €. But it was a great one for our conditions, at least it would have been served in our area as a large milk coffee with a significantly higher price. In any case, the coffee was wonderfully hot, very aromatic, with not too much milk foam as I like it. And as already mentioned, you come into a quick conversation with the table neighbours. Our were two nice older ladies who fed their straw apple with great joy and joy. They burned off the quality of potatoes and the various large fillings. They almost all tried, and they were all guarded. And there are always new creations. They recommended us to try Kumpir a funny word, they said. We'll be in Lübeck next time.
