La Baita - Ludiano

On a bicycle tour my wife and I stayed at Osteria La Baita for lunch. We had both the menu of the day, roasted chicken with pommes frittes (French frits). Maybe not the hottest choice, but there was no real choice in the hour we stopped. The food was properly cooked and served hot. The woman waiting for us was polite and efficient. We were happy. While I did not try to go to the restaurant, I would not hesitate to stop under the same circumstances.

Yesterday we had our lunch in this place. Friendly service and moderate prices. My french french french french was indeed very good. My wife and friend ordered a Risotto con funghi and after about 30 minutes they were allowed to enjoy a house full of Risotto. BRAVO

Strange attitude. I had no lunch or dinner, just went because of the reviews and as over, back from skiing, it looked nice and welcoming. The atmosphere and dishes on the table were exciting.. I went for a coffee, how to delay... too bad that the lady (owners? was so rude.. ordering a coffee seemed to insult her? Certainly not ready to face this rude host again.

Ottima la carne, molto tenera, ottima anche la carne di cervo.Buono l’abbinamento per la cottura della carne, sia come brasera sia come “chinoise” (cottura con il brodo).Ottima scelta dei vini.Posto molto accogliente, sala non enorme ottima per una buona cena o pranzo.Per garantirsi un posto è meglio riservare il tavolo.Una persona del nostro gruppo ha provato il “cordon bleu” molto buono con una forma particolarea “palla”.Ci ritornerei sicuramente.
