Khatir - Lucknow

Great food...must visit. Proprietors are very welcoming people and if you are new to Lucknow they will help you try new food

Everybody have their own favourite taste and appetite. Since others found the taste of Khatir alluring and luscious. I found it not better than Mubeens and Raheem.

The food was delish, at least the mutton kebab. It wasn't soaked in oil, very soft, right amount of spices and light on the stomach. The sheermal wasn't that good as expected although it was freshly baked. I have had much better sheermals in Delhi. Moreover the restaurant wasn't too neat and tidy. But all that was made up for when the cooks interacted with us in a very friendly manner. They showed how they were preparing the sheermal and had courtesy of conversation.

Greetings Lucknowites ! Amongst the traffic and commotion of old Lucknow resides a Restaurant called Khatir. I visited khatir on a busy Sunday evening and it was absolutely worth each and every valuable second of my time. They have a variety of dishes . My personal favorites are mentioned below : Mutton Biryani 5/5 Afghani Roasted Chicken 5/5 Mutton Nahari 4/5 Kulcha 5/5 All of the things we ate were just perfect. To top it all they have a Shahi Tukda which just melts in your mouth. Also, i would like to add that the owner is a very generous and a kind person who helped us decide which dish we would enjoy the most. And boy was he right!! Ambience 5/5 Sevice 5/5 Food 5/5

Khatir is by far a restaurant which serves the best Sheermaal that you can ever get your hands on. The special bread is made with a mix of the best quality dried fruits and saffron which gives it a perfect texture and flavor. Please note that the special ones are made to order so give them sufficient time and you will not regret. They pack them individually too and it’s totally worth the price they demad. Have used them thrice and will be doing it more often. P.s : don’t forget to try their Batair Quails ans Shahi Tukda simply heaven
