Lombardo - LUCCA

What a great choice for dinner. The appetizer and pasta dishes were fantastic as was the creme brûlé and cappuccino. Our waiter had been working there for 28 years and was outstanding. We sat outside on the patio. It was nice but could use some more ambiance. I would highly recommend eating here!

I enjoyed eating there 7 times during my 7 week stay in Lucca. The food was always outstanding. The service was such that I even tipped. The waiter was very good in choosing great local wines for my wine connoisseur dinner guests. Rack of lamb, steak, mushroom dish ... antipasto in general were all excellent. Prices are very reasonable and much better than eating at a place inside Lucca walls. Worth driving to if you are in Lucca area. A place that locals frequent and that is something I truly enjoy when in Europe. I miss the place and the owner and her waiter.

We had dinner several times at the previous Lombardo at Pieve Santo Stefano, and each time the food was wonderful and the service attentive. Was kind of nervous going to the new Lombardo........ I shouldn't have been. The food was wonderful and the service was even better. They even remembered us. Thank you once again for a wonderful evening. See you next time

Ottimo locale a pochi chilometri da lucca, in direzione del mare, sulla strada normale. l'ambiente è veramente accogliente, con il personale preparato per la spiegazione di ogni singolo piatto, sempre con simpatia e cordialità. Sicuramente gli spaghetti sono deliziosi e abbondanti, con un equilibrio di sapori fantastici. poi i dolci sono uno meglio dell'altro, si vede la grande passione dei cuochi in preparazione. conto onesto, che si distingue su 40€ a persona, molto ben meritato per l'esperienza consegnataci dal personale. sicuramente per tornare.

Molto bello e ben tenuto locale a due passi dalla nostra casa. atmosfera amichevole e rilassata. personale competente, gentile e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. la carta offre pochi piatti selezionati e preparati con grande cura, con materie prime principalmente del territorio e qualche “straniero” di importazione come Angus. ottima carta di vino. prezzi nella norma, forse leggermente eccessivi quelli dei secondi ma sapete, la qualità che pagate. piacevole sorpresa, che ripeteremo spesso. Bene!
