A must visit when in Lucca if you want home made pasta and taste the local cheeses, hams, sausages etc. Also wonderful wine selection

Excellent choice! We had a wonderful meal accompanied by a delicious glass of their house (sangiovese) wine. Their tagliere (salumi and cheese board) was of high quality, and they served their own homemade kiwi and apple jam which was to die for. I asked the staff if I could buy some from them as they have many products on display for sale, but since the jam was homemade it wasn't for sale but they very kindly provided me with a (very generous) sample size for free as a gesture of goodwill! I believe this restaurant is well known for their steaks however since my partner and I weren't too hungry we had a very light dinner but I must admit, we could see them preparing the steaks and they seemed delicious and perfectly cooked! I am sure we will be back but with a bigger appetite next time to try! Very kind and attentive staff, food and wine was of high quality and lastly, the location is literally two steps from piazza anfiteatro, so all in all this is a real gem. Thank you!

Perfect steaks in the amazing square in the center of Lucca. We tried the tartar and grigliata mista. Both high quality and fresh products.

Great lunch and congruous prices! very young staff and owners. I'd like to say I'd be back, but I actually live far away and unfortunately I see it as a remote thing. It would undoubtedly be a point of reference. continue
