Caffetteria La Piazzetta - LUCCA

A simple no frills restaurant mostly full of locals. A friendly welcome awaits with good food and drink. Other restaurants in the square teemed but this was a quiet oasis. We had breakfast, hot chocolate and croissants on two occasions. We also called in for an aperitif on a number of occasions. The owner makes a delicious and large Aperol spritz.

For consistently good coffee, a selection of pastries and snacks fresh every day, this is the cafe to seek out. Off the tourist track, take a quiet break in modern surroundings that speak simplicity and charm. Reasonably priced, consistently good, surrounded by outstandingly beautiful buildings, strangely you’ll find yourself returning.

The neighborhood cafeteria, traditional meeting point, simple and professional, where tourists pass and international students of the nearby imt center are welcome. a place for everyone, clean and professional.
