Old school halo halo but good for its price of 60 pesos nowadays. If you want to experience nostalgia, this is the place. Its just too sweet for me though.
Refreshments are top notch but the place is just your typical local halo-halo place so don 't expect pic worthy backgrounds. Go for the halo-halo, not for the pics
My cousins and I were directed here by the lady selling Pancit Habhab near the church. She said this place sells the best halo-halo. Upon reaching Salud's I had to pay 50 pesos for a small cup of halo-halo... I was actually expecting the halo-galo in glass as seen in the Local Guides photos... It broke my heart a bit but after tasting it... Well it completed our food trip in Lucban. The quality is not bad but the quantity and presentation still matters.
This place reminds me of my childhood in a very in-explainable manner, considering that this is not really my hometown, it just feels home, comfortable. even if the wares are a bit old. the service is very humble, people are friendly. the halo halo is one of a kind, also their maiz con hielo is a must try. so what more if you combine both? yes they do serve halo2 and maizconhielo combined. for the price, i'll say it's fair. since it's the best tasting specific dessert i've ever tried, not kidding. although its difficult to get here because of small streets meaning no parking. all in all, getting here is fun and lovely, I will definitely get back in this wonderful place. so here is my 5 star.
