Becky's Seafood - Lubec

On my first visit to Maine, I decided to try my very first lobster roll at this restaurant, and it was incredible! I chose butter instead of mayo and enjoyed it while sitting at one of the picnic tables; it felt like a spiritual experience. The lobster was so fresh and succulent that it practically melted in my mouth. I also tried the smoked salmon on a stick, which was just as delicious. A few days later, I had another lobster roll at a different place, and while it was good, it couldn't compare to Becky's. Simply superb!

We stopped here on our way back to our vacation stay from Campobello island for a pre-dinner snack. Yes, we are on vacation, so we eat 5 meals a day. We ordered a lobster roll, crab roll, and haddock bites with fries. Everything was delicious. After eating more than my share of lobster rolls across Maine, this was good. The crab roll, on the other hand, is totally underrated in the state of Maine from my point of view. The crab roll here is also delicious, filled with the sweet, delicate crab meat, in a New England style hot dog bun, requires no work to chowing it down. The haddock bites were lightly breaded and fried, dipped in malt vinegar, is flaky, delicate, and falls apart in your mouth. They are not open very long during the day, and sometimes closes during bad weather per the sign. Stop by for lunch, snack, early dinner, its good.

It's 2019, and Becky is still the best at her craft. I really wish she were in New Jersey. Check the original review for more details.

During our family's visit to the charming town of Lubec, Maine, we ordered takeout from Becky's, and it was fantastic! The fish and fries were delicious. I would definitely recommend it!

I had an incredible lunch yesterday, just like always! The prices are fantastic, the food is delicious, and the service is top-notch! I'm really sad to hear that they will be closing soon!
