If you are looking for a fun place to get a beer maybe an appetizer, this is a good place. Lots of different beers on tap fun atmosphere. If you want an actual meal, go somewhere else. The price does not match the quality of food. I ordered at $15 burger that was overcooked, dry, barely any cheese (4 tiny pieces of blue cheese on a blue cheese burger), the tiniest bit of mayo. My husband ordered 2 of the different appetizer tacos were described as adequate. Plus, it took 30+ mins once the food was ordered. Disappointed in the food, but the beer was good.
Date of visit, June 1st 2024. I have been trained to ask when I come to this restaurant, Do you have Tea in stock. I don 't come here very often so you can imagine what the odds have to be for this place to match their out of stock with tea and my arriving there. I come maybe 4 times a year. The time we did come there, the hostess had no clue as to whether or not there was tea in the restaurant and had to ask. Then she verified there was tea, so we sat down. Pretty bad to have to ask about a staple being in stock, also, some clown decided to make a slurry mixture of sugar and water and keep it in one of the coolers. I order mine without sweet because I won 't eat sugar in drinks and have strict dietary needs. My son however ordered a sweet tea and he said it was disgusting, so he switched drinks. The server was a female and she seemed like she was just going through the motions and didn 't really care. I had to make more than my share of the effort to see our interactions were more exciting and smile and act like I was doing her job to make her visit a success. I don 't work for this restaurant, but I can do a much better job than her with even less effort if that tells you anything. Also this restaurant uses bad tactics on the receipt. Subtotal is the amount before tax is added and should be the ONLY amount you figure a tip on, but like most underhanded restaurants, they are now starting to define the TOTAL as subtotal and trick you into tipping on the tax. Thank God I can figure simple math and don 't give the server or this restaurant anymore money than what they deserve. I did tip about 300% on the bill but it sure wasn 't figured on the added tax. I even wrote down the correct amounts and labels on the receipt hoping they get a clue. They also use printed out menus that anyone knows that after one use they have fold marks, dirt, grease and drink stains. This is tacky and shows just how cheap people are. Make professional menus so they can be cleaned and kept in nice shape. TO THE OWNER: your restaurant has the potential to be something great and it was pathetic that during lunch time on a Saturday afternoon your restaurant was dead. Perhaps you should find a better managing team, retrain your zombie servers and figure out how to improve everyone 's experience. This is the only communication you 're going to receive from me, I suggest you take my advice and have staff meetings so that you can improve your restaurant experience for your customers. I 'll even bet that your bleeding money and going oh gee I wonder why my restaurant is failing. It starts at the top and your employees sure aren 't helping you reach success.
June 1st Disappointing to say the least.We ordered a house old fashioned , when asked where the orange peel was after the drink was delivered the waiter said “ we are out of oranges “ that would have been nice to know before hand. This was just the beginning of “ we are out of….”They ended up being out of Martin House Alien Apocalypse, KETCHUP, honey mustard.Fries were cold, and one order wasn’t right. Bathrooms were a mess.
One of my favorite worlds! The food is pretty decent...it's fairly normal bar faire. Atmosphere is that wannabe hipster location, but it actually works! My friends and I go to WoB every now and then...sometimes it's a large group (8 or more), sometimes it's just a few of us and sometimes it's just me and a friend who have had a rough week and need to tie one on. We've never gotten bad service. Even tonight, when my burger had a hair in it, the server apologized and had it taken off the bill. For me it's not so much the food or atmosphere, but that I'm made to feel comfortable in a place and I feel comfortable here. Parking: It's in a shopping center, so spaces are shared amongst stores and parking is limited. Kid-friendliness: I don't have kids, but I've seem people who have kids bring them into the establishment.
