Heff's Burgers - Lubbock

Well, it's been a while since we went to heff, probably about two years. Last time was not the best, but the burgers were good, so we decided to try again. The Shakes are still delicious, but when did they start with premade burger patty?s? I have really thicker burgers at cheap fast food joints. I only remember being able to eat half of the mushroom Swiss burgers because it was so filled, this time I wish I had ordered a double patty. My daughters funny Burger was also wrong. Not sure what happened to the burgers, but we won?

I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant, thanks to the friendly staff and the clean tables and floors. I visited today, and this was my fourth time here since last year. However, I noticed that the burger patties are now quite small and don’t match the advertised half-pound size. The bacon also seems to have changed; it's very thin and doesn't have the same quality as what I enjoyed earlier this year. On the positive side, the seasoning remains great, and the bread is delicious. The ingredients taste fresh, and the milkshakes are excellent, although at $5.99 for a 10-ounce size, they are a bit pricey. I would suggest bringing back the previous half-pound burger patties and the thicker bacon that was served before October. I would consider returning, but I’d likely have to order a double burger just to feel satisfied with their standard size.

First visit. I really enjoyed my meal. Mushroom and Swiss burgers were great. Well seasoned and fresh. Good frits and onion rings too.

The food was excellent—fresh and delicious. The service was outstanding as well. The burger was well-seasoned and incredibly tender. It seemed like the meat patties were made on-site. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The woman mentioned that she remembers the old Lotabutger from Albuquerque.

The burgers were good, despite one of the buns being so old it was stale and dry on one side. The grilled chicken sandwich was disgusting. It was rubbery, and it looked and tasted like it went from frozen to the microwave before it ended up on my bun. I have been hungry enough to eat some fairly questionable things, but I couldnt bring myself to take more than one bite of that grilled chicken. The fries are real good.
