Gator's Bayou - Lubbock

That was our (man, son and I) first time here and it was very nice. the food came hot and fresh. it was very good. the personal was attentive and friendly. our waitress was the best, because it was not too busy, she took the time to talk to us and even made some suggestions about the drinks. she made us feel like friends instead of just more customers. the vibe wad real laid back and chill. will definitely be back for more.

The first time to eat there. my son to the late lunch of the vater! great service and eating is also great. they have great parts!

Fried fried chicken, garnel and crawl over rice, they also have a damn good frog!

I would describe this place as a bar that serves food. It definitely had that bar vibe going on. We went for the food and was not disappointed. I had the chicken fried steak. It said hand breaded, I asked before ordering if it really was. The waitress said yes so I went ahead and ordered it. It was the best one I've had in a very long time. My wife had the shrimp alfredo. She really loved it. It had a lot of shrimp also. I love Dr. Pepper and theirs is mixed to perfection. Not since I have toured the Dr. Pepper plant have i had a perfectly balanced one. That made me very happy. They changed the Dr. Pepper it no longer the best in lubbock. It's sub ok now. Put the Dr. Pepper back like it was. That was a main reason we returned. I took a star away for the depressing Dr. Pepper.
