Overlooked but shouldn't be. Apple tree is a Mom and Pop has has the best pancakes in town-also the toast is perfect and the home fries are real. Southwest omelet is very hard to beat (spicy) and the coffee is good. Everything at the bakery counter is super (I especially like the peanut butter cookies). Cozy and personal. Custom baking too. Double pecan pie competes with my wife's. Tried lunch a few times and was not disappointed. The short menu is a good thing. Oh, and the bacon quesadillas!!! Should be on your list of best breakfast spots.

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. First, let me say I haven't been here...yet. <br/ <br/ I live in Houston and wanted to find a cherry pie for my TTU son's birthday. I called and the owner answered the phone. I explained what I was looking for and couldn't have been more fortunate. Not only was she understanding but also kind and caring about getting this done for my son. The best part, however, was the call I received from my son. Cherry pie is his favorite and he said that this one ranks among the best he's had.<br/ <br/ Well done, Apple Tree Cafe and Bakery. I was in Lubbock visiting friends. After checking Urbanspoon, I decided to hit the place one morning for breakfast. I ordered an omelette and hashbrowns. It tasted really good not spectacular but good. I then spotted the Bavarian turnover and knew I had to try it. They brought me one that was still warm. Absolutely delicious and decadent. I didn't get a chance, but my friends ordered a few of their cookies and told me they were wonderful. The service was really good, gotta love southern hospitality.

Yummy!. My grandparents came to town and I wanted to take them somewhere yummy for brunch. I read about apple tree cafe and bakery on urbanspoon and it had good reviews, so we thought we should give it a try. When we first walked in I was a little worried because it seemed very small and homestyle, but the food was FANTASTIC! I have never written a review on food in my life, but this place was so good that i had to give them credit! The people were extremely nice and the breakfast was spectacular. you should really give this place a try, its delicious! :

Super Awesome!. Was near my corporate office to get lunch and immediately the staff was super friendly and inviting and i got a menu and sat down and orderd, the food came out really fast and fresh and omgee it tasted sooo good i thought i was in my mother's or grandmother's kitchen it was just so good, i dont think they add a lot of salt in the food which i think is awesome cuz i hate over salted food. i went again today and i just had to get the tuna salad sandwich again it is just so good, they have a lot of baked goods but i am not a big fan of sweet foods however i am def thinkin of trying theirs because its just looks so good and fresh. def check out it is so worth it, trust you will not be disappointed , i know i will be going back very often, the prices are great too!
