La Rosa, Italian - Luang Prabang

Delicious food, warm service, comfortable ambience. I tried the tuna salad, the ravioli and the pizza, and I recommend them all. Beer Laos is also beautiful and cold.

We ate here twice. The first visit was obvious that there was cream in a sauce, but the cook confirmed that he could do the dish without it. It was absolutely delicious. Today's dinner was very different, but also delicious. It's not the cheapest restaurant in town, it's worth the little extra. The staff is beautiful. Well trained and helpful. The menu has some interesting options with some specials. It has a good wine and aperitif menu. As a previous critic said, it is not the busiest restaurant around, although it was full tonight, but for high-quality and delicious Italian cuisine I would recommend La Rosa.

A beautiful place to get excellent Italian cuisine if you need a taste from home in a faraway place. Very nice and attentive staff.

Excellent pizza! It is a bit out of the way from the main part of Luang Prabang but the extra walk is worth it. Staff was very friendly, the interior was stylish and you can see the pizza oven in the corner of the room--and it burns hot when it gets going. Pizzas came out with a nice crust--not burnt and just perfect for wood oven style. My wife had the magharita and I had the diavola and both were excellent. As I said, you have to walk a little from the main strip night market) to find it but it is worth the trip!
