Contribuiți la feedbackI loved the coffee here. I came back twice. Very nice location and good service. The woman who works the coffee bar is very friendly. Look at the hallway in the rear or in the upper hallway and rear deck to see some really beautiful interior design. I wasn't there, but they let me go and take pictures.
Very friendly staff. Nice place with a good selection of coffee and tea. Perfect choice on a hot day. Another plus: no straws of plastic,
We were here for coffee. Coffee here are really nice, we had Café Latte and steambow tried that were really nice. Try to get a place in the branch to enjoy the view of Luang Prabang along with immerse beautiful coffee.
Wonderful little café, we loved it so much we decided to return more than once to it. We came a few times for the quiet atmosphere and good coffee especially read books (history/philosophy) It is not about the café, but a person named “Alice” who claimed to be a friend of the owner who acted a little strange and made us feel completely unwilling. When we were on Saturday afternoon, 23. June arrived, there was a family at a table and “Alice” at another, the café was basically full of free space. The family of about 5 people left approx. 15 minutes after our arrival, while they went out, they said goodbye to “Alice” and also apologized to it for “destroy them.” It was strange considering that this is a public café and not a private apartment. But this detail became clear to us a little later. Unlike the previous times, the music that played was not the soft, inconspicuous jazz and so from the previous times. You know the normal quiet background you often hear at coffee sites. It was texts heavy with many rising and falling notes, charging singing, demanding attention and difficult to focus on our reading. Bar music? So we politely asked the waitress (because there was no idea Alice was in control of music) to lower the music a little bit. After that we noticed that the volume was even higher than after a few minutes. We were confused, but we started to suspect that someone else was in control of music. So this time we decided to consult with the only remaining “best” whether it would be okay to turn off the music. When asked “Alice” confessed that it was in fact that she controlled the music and began to inform us about her university credentials and how she can help us to concentrate more effectively and continue, to tell us some strange facts about her home in the country with Grashoppern and snakes and no music and how we are invited to go there while here is a café and many conversations and people should not usually be in a café. She also mentioned that she is an important person “the honor” and something about how we “would not be afraid.” (We didn't prepare for it) This was not entirely the answer we had expected when the whole reason we asked was to be polite and perhaps find a compromise with the volume, not to be held or to the high level of such important people who live in the cafés in this city. After a while, “Alice” stood up and turned the music completely and said: “You win.” She came back 20 minutes later and played the music again with a high volume. She further raised and lowered the volume, probably for songs that she prefers more or less, etc. until we left. Wonderful café, but beware of certain pompous persons who treat it like their personal living room, regardless of other visitors, and be willing to hear their resume and about snakes around their house when you dare to speak.
Nice Cafe on the main road, with comfortable chairs and pillows on the terrace in the afternoon shade. Big kudos to this place for having paper straws! Definitely recommended if you're looking for a western style café.
