Afternoon Tea The Garden

I had a disappointing experience with the afternoon tea; it wasn't worth it. The cakes were quite unappetizing.

The food was inedible, and the tea was undrinkable. While the staff were friendly and pleasant, the service was terrible. This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever visited. I can't understand how this place is still in business.

Wanted to support a local hotel so tried there for Sunday lunch. The food was tasty although the dessert was a bit disappointing. It did feel like starters and desserts were plated and left not warmed up. However the restaurant had a really homely feel and the staff were friendly and attentive. We would go back.

Had a fab lunch here with friends. Coronation Chicken sandwich was very tasty, big pieces of chicken in a homemade sauce with 3 slices of bread crisps on the side! Second time I have been here for lunch and will definitely return! Highly recommend!

It was a very bad experience! We had our booking/ we got an email to confirm our booking and when we went there, the restaurant was closed! I would imagine that the booking system will be closed if the restaurant is closed? We were a group of 4 aiming to celebrate a special occasion...It went really wrong, very disappointing. For those who have a booking in this restaurant before June, please be mindful of this.
