Brew'd Awakening Coffeehaus - Lowell

I hope the management sees this review and considers making some improvements. The sandwiches, which were once consistently tasty, now seem to lack quality and freshness. The bread and toppings appear stale, the meat seems to be of a lower quality than before, and there’s less of it. The cookies I've had lately were stale as well. Additionally, the young staff can be unwelcoming and rude for no apparent reason. If you happen to be unhappy with your coffee, which might taste off (perhaps the milk has gone bad?), the staff tends to make you feel uncomfortable before they agree to remake it. It's really disheartening because I truly love this place. I’m hopeful that this is just a temporary situation. I plan to try again soon and will update my review accordingly!

First, they got my order wrong, which is understandable—it happens. While I was discussing my order with one barista, another barista with platinum blonde hair pushed two hot coffees across the counter, causing one to spill over. Despite my efforts to contain it, the hot coffee splashed onto my hand and burned me. She didn't apologize or acknowledge the incident at all. A kind gentleman stepped in to help clean up, but she ignored him as well. The barista who initially took my order made my drink, but it still wasn't right and didn't taste good. I politely asked if she could fix it again, which she did, and while I expressed my gratitude with a “thanks,” her response was simply “yeah.” I understand that a lot was happening at once and they might have been stressed, but this incident affected not only me and my injury, which went unacknowledged, but also other customers in the café. I genuinely hope they take this feedback as a constructive opportunity to enhance their customer service rather than a negative critique of their business. I've been a loyal supporter of Brew'd Awakening and have even brought friends to this location, but after today's experience, I'm left feeling disappointed in their service.

This is a fantastic spot for getting work done, with WiFi available. They offer good drinks and snacks, and the desserts are decent. The staff is friendly and very quick. There is a bathroom available as well. However, indoor seating is somewhat limited.

Nice staff and cozy environment. Delicious coffee and egg&cheese sandwich. A gem in the area.

Open late and has good food! Closes at 9 but food is served til 8. Very nice people working there. I recommend the Out of Africa tea, or the London Fog tea. Sandwiches are very good and reasonably priced.
