L'Epicerie De La Grotte - Lourdes

We found this beautiful café/store while walking to the Sanctuary. It is a must stop. We had a glass of wine and a Perrier and we were hooked. Sandra the owner welcomes you with open arms. This place is simple, good and a great atmosphere. We are from New York City and have been all around the world. Sandra and this café will be in our memories forever. Have a simple breakfast or lunch. You have to try the Gelato, Sandra makes it fresh from Home. This is not a tourist trap like so many restaurants near the Sanctuary. Go here and eat with family. It is very reasonable.

Such a disappointment especially since we've been looking forward to having a meal here.

Breakfast here is very good - and early dinners are a great alternative for those seeking an option from libertyville and the $14 cocktail.
