Pastelaria Amendoal - Loulé

We hanged out here while waiting for the opening of the carnival and had some espresso and pastries. The place was full but we were able to get a small spot on the corner. The staff are friendly and served us with a smile. The pastries are good.

Went here to get some cakes cakes for a party. First time in Portugal I was consciously ignored by the lady behind the counter, she seemed in a very bad mood. Whilst she kept deliberately helping other people I had to 'demand ' to be helped, very odd. With the biggest effort she managed to take my order, asking what was what seemed too much of a bother for her so I gave up and just bought what looked good. I got 8 different cakes and all but one were found either bland or not tasty by my guests. So all in all I can say I will never return here and do not recommend others to go either, Loule has much better to offer!
