The Sea Hag - Louisville

We had a 6:30 reservation on Saturday and were promptly seated. The food was outstanding. I ordered a beer on tap and a couple of mixed drinks, all of which were expertly made. My only issue was that our server forgot one of the drinks and we didn't see her for over 15 minutes. When she finally came back, she mentioned she'd get the drink and remove it from the bill, but that didn’t happen. I ended up paying for it anyway, as I didn't want to make a fuss over a single drink. Aside from that, it was a pretty good experience overall.

This was our first time here and I must say it won't be our last. We made reservations for our anniversary dinner and it was more than we expected. To be honest I'm a bit ashamed, because between the friendly hosts, waiters and the chef. I can't remember everyone's names. This place is very cozy and warm especially if you're able to get a seat by the fireplace. Thank you Village Anchor for making sure our night was memorable and special.

Amazing place with gorgeous decoration. The tuna salad is delicious and the fried tomatoes are incredible. The mix of flavors is just perfect and the tuna had a great seasoning. My plate had only the freshest ingredients and was brilliant and colorful. They gave great and friendly staff. Thanks a lot!

This was our first visit to The Village Anchor, and I must say it's a hidden gem in the Anchorage area of Louisville. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, featuring a large fireplace in the main area that was crackling on this chilly day, along with outdoor seating for pleasant weather. The bar area was also impressive and well-stocked. Our server was both efficient and friendly. However, the highlight was definitely the food, which was exceptional! The brunch menu offered a great variety, and I would particularly recommend the Brussels sprout salad and the banana pudding dessert. Additionally, there's a lovely park nearby where you can take a stroll to work off some calories after dining at this local eatery!
