Contribuiți la feedbackThe waitresses are phenomenal. We had Amy. And Amy was very attentive to our table. All the staff are awesome. Including the people that bust the tables. It is a great place to eat. Food is excellent. I haven't gotten a bad meal there yet. Big portions and very affordable.Food: 5/5
Ordered pork chop dinner with pintos and cornbread. The porkchop was as thin as deli ham. I have never seen one so thin. It was over done and tough. The beans are straight from a can, taste watered down. It was very expensive. The server was not on her game. Never going back.Food: 1/5
This place is misnamed because it is ALL Country! We came here for breakfast and enjoyed every bit of it. The coffee was strong and coffee-like, like any good diner should have. I had eggs and bacon with biscuits. Finally a place that knows how to cook scrambled eggs well done without them being runny! Bacon was thick and meaty—some of the best I’ve had.The biscuits were big and fluffy and just like momma made—if my mom actually made biscuits.Staff was friendly and courteous. I would recommend this place to anyone for a nice breakfast with a down home feel!
Today (04-26-2023), was my first visit. The staff were great! Being very friendly. The restaurant has a nice, older style layout, that I liked.Their menu has a lot of my old favorites, and the prices aren 't bad, if the quality was up to par. Which brings me to the sad part. The food.I ordered the roast beef in brown gravy, fries, pickled beats and onions, and the sweet cornbread with lots of butter.I got the beats/onions first. They were okay, but were bitter with a preservative aftertaste and required a fair bit of salt and pepper. Wouldn 't order them again. Now on to the main attraction, the roast beef in brown gravy and fries. No, for the love of anything at all, do not order the roast beef! It tasted very strongly of and excreted the odor of very outdated cheap canned meat type product. Not at all like a nice roasted chunk of cow that I was expecting. I forced myself to eat about 1/3 of it (fully regretted that before I even made it home, almost ruined my nice leather seats). The French fries were pretty good, however! The sweet cornbread was nice, but it didn 't come with butter, but the cheapest, lowest quality of some vegetable margarine spread. It was very watery and not good at all. If you ask for butter you should get butter, not a turkey killing knock off of a knock off (repeat as many times as you would like) of a butter wannabe replacement. There quite a few elderly (older than me) making up the vast customer base. I 'm guessing they must serve somethings that are worth it. The only things I overheard anyone ordering was the vegetable plate, but that was after I ordered.Still trying to get the knots out of my stomach, so I 'm not too keen on the idea of giving them another chance.
Very nice homey atmosphere, very nice and attentive servers who will accommodate special requests (one I saw help an elderly gentleman cut up his pork chop for him), good food in good-sized portions. Excellent value for the money and not too expensive. Will most definitely be back.Vegetarian options: They have vegetable plates, vegetable sides, and salads.Kid-friendliness: Everyone is welcome, including families with kids all the way to seniors.Parking: Plenty of free spots on both sides of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking and ramp on east side of building.
