Subway - Louisville

Let's begin with the employees: they were courteous and displayed a sense of urgency in attending to me and processing my order. They even informed me that I had a discount available based on my purchase, which I appreciated. I would give the employees five stars. As for the cleanliness, I would rate it four stars. The drink station was a bit cluttered and could have used some tidying up, and the trash bins needed to be emptied. I noticed a customer had taken it upon themselves to dispose of their garbage in a drink holder near the cash register. The staff noticed this, but it seemed it had been there for a while, as several customers had followed suit, myself included. This was the moment the employees realized that it had essentially become a makeshift garbage can. The food itself was satisfactory, consistent with Subway's typical offerings. However, since this location is situated inside a Walmart, I can imagine that they face challenges in staffing and maintaining order, especially given its busy location near the entrance.

Delicious, delicious, delicious! The vegetables were fresh, the meats were fresh, and, most importantly, the bread was fresh too. The fountain drink was also perfectly blended. This Subway truly sets the standard for how all Subways should operate. Moreover, the young staff members were a pleasure to interact with, in contrast to some places where younger employees might seem indifferent.

I'm not entirely sure if the high turnover is due to training new employees who then transfer to other locations, high school students who take short-term jobs before moving on, or if the owners might make the workplace challenging. Despite this, my overall experience here has been great. I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu, except for the Buffalo items since I’m not a fan of spicy food. However, I see plenty of customers ordering it, so it must be good!
