Smashburger - Louisville

I ordered a combo meal, which was a bit pricey. The burgers were a good size and had excellent flavor. My orders were prepared quickly, and the restaurant was clean. The customer service was fantastic. I’ll definitely return when I'm in the area again.

During a brief electrical issue, we mentioned that we understood the situation because we had electricians working in our home. I noticed that Holly treated every customer the same way, always wearing a smile and offering positive assistance. It would be wonderful to see more employees like Holly and her team in other restaurants. As a restaurant owner, I recognize how rare it is to find such excellent customer service! Now, about the food—it was amazing! Everything was fresh and well-seasoned; I couldn't even finish my meal. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious. There was another employee attending to the tables while we were eating, and he was so unobtrusive that I hardly noticed he was there, which showed a great respect for our dining atmosphere. It was impressive to see how the team members supported each other; whenever someone was called upon, they stepped in without hesitation. Great job to Smash Burger for having such a fantastic team!

If I could give this place less than 1 star, I absolutely would! When my burger arrived, I lifted the bun only to find that the patty was so small it barely covered half of the bottom bun. I had to remove the top bun just to see the size of the burger. Who wants to eat just a piece of bread? The experience was further marred by the grumpy man behind the counter who clearly wasn’t happy to be there. The fries were mediocre; some were cold and mixed in with fresher ones. Overall, it was a thoroughly disappointing meal! I will never return to any SMASHBURGER again. Save your time and money—this place is a total letdown!

No ice for fountain drinks. Kelly (employee) did not inform customers of this fact prior to ordering and refused refund. When informed about the lack of ice he informed me that there, was no ice in the entire store . When I questioned him; Don 't you think it would have been a good idea to inform the customers of this prior to ordering? To which he replied, Maybe .

We ate lunch at Smashburger. I was relieved that they offered gluten free buns. However, they do not have a dedicated fryer for gluten free fries. That didn't bother me as I am not so sensitive that I need a separate frier. We ordered 2 double bacon smashburgers, a gluten free avocado bacon melt, regular fries, sweet potato fries, and smash fries. We thought the burgers were decent, slightly better than standard fast food; the fries were quite delicious and crispy.
