I just want to mention that it seems like the "large" size is the same as the "regular" size here, since my "large" dish on the right had less food than the one on the left. I will be returning to Mad Greens in Boulder. The "large" container was not even full. I suggest that if you normally order a regular size, you should consider ordering a large for more value.
This was the most expensive chicken salad I've ever eaten. The chicken tasted artificial and I even found a frozen piece in my salad. I ordered the Poe salad, aptly named as I will never return. The salad had very few walnuts and was mostly lettuce. The dressing was watery and there were only a few crumbs of brown cheese. The only positive was that I received the salad for free due to a system error, and the manager was very accommodating. This experience earns 2 stars instead of 1.
This restaurant offers a great option for a healthy lunch. The salads are delicious and customers have the choice to customize their own salad or choose from a set version.
I'm not out of co and wanted to try something new. I found this place and decided to try it. first the working man was not very pleasant and I had to repeat my order several times. I asked for my dear sauce and he gave me white sauce. I ordered the Southwestern bowl. I thought it was rough! the rice was rough and everything in it was only bath. no taste. I ordered hummus and pita brot on the side and was told it would be right outside. it was never given to me. I also ordered a dessert on the side and since there was a healthier food type of place I thought it was freshly baked, nope. it came in a plastic bag and you suspected it. I don't understand why this place has so many good reviews?
I’ve had good experiences with Mad Greens at other locations, but today was not good. I ordered a Buddha Bowl online because I wanted a vegetarian meal with protein from seeds nuts and grains. When I arrived about 5 minutes after the order was predicted to be done, there were no orders on the take out rack. I had to wait in line for other people to order, defeating the purpose of an online order. When I got to the front they said they were out of grains, which is half of their menu. Why didn’t they call to inform me of this? The restaurant was not busy. She asked if I wanted more spinach instead. Since spinach does not have protein, that is not a good substitute. I switched to the southwest wrap, settling for chicken and asking for dressing on the side. I waited longer for them to make the wrap. When I got home, they had forgotten to include my dressing. Also the wrap costs less so they should have offered to comp a side due them not having half of their menu. Hopefully management will better train the staff to provide accommodation in situations like this and also make sure to order to keep the menu in stock.
