Macaron - Louisville

Wow, I have to say... I had never tried macarons until today, and I couldn't be happier that my first experience was at Macaron Bar. They were absolutely incredible! I think I've discovered my new guilty pleasure! I need to be careful, though; I could easily become addicted. I can't wait to sample more flavors!

Had my first macaron here and it was fantastic! I recommend the coffee flavor.

This place was a real treat. We got 12 for $25. Yeah, expensive! But for a family of 4, it was worth it. We had options to try many flavors. Lemon lavender is my favorite so far. Earl grey is beautiful and tastes just like tea. The shop is beautiful. Staff was friendly. Shop was so clean! We will go back again.

This place is fantastic! I parked out front for 20 minutes before they opened, and I was really excited to try it! The atmosphere is very minimalist, and the owner opened right on time. She was quick and efficient in assisting me. The flavor options are amazing, and among the three macarons I tried on the way home, the Birthday Cake flavor is definitely the standout. It takes a lot of willpower to resist eating the other three! They also have this impressive macaron tree for $380, which is actually a good deal since macarons are usually pricey. That tree would be perfect for a party and unique enough to serve as a centerpiece. I'll definitely be returning, and if you're considering visiting this place, you should definitely go for it!

The macarons were excellent! I purchased 12 cookies for around $25. However, the service left something to be desired. I mentioned that it was my first visit, shared my love for macarons, and noted that it was my birthday. When I got home, I discovered they have a frequent buyer card and offer a complimentary macaron on your birthday. The staff member didn’t inform me about the buyer card or mention the macaron. Even a simple suggestion like, "If you sign up for the program, you'll get a free macaron next year," would have made me happy. In reality, he could have given away a $2 cookie and looked great, but that didn’t happen.
