To make matters worse, two older gentlemen lit up cigarettes right in the kitchen, showing no concern about being seen. This is not only a significant health code violation but also incredibly off-putting. After this experience, I have no intention of returning, and I would recommend others to skip this place as well.

Love the catfish dinner. The food is always served fresh and hot.

Fish and Chips. Some fish sticks with some fries sprinkled underneath. Sippy-cup of Sprite and the stand-out: Fried Green Tomatoes, which were pretty good. All for 19.47. Other, better places in town.

The fish had a thick layer of batter but not much actual fish. However, the fried vegetables, like okra and onion rings, were quite delicious. Unfortunately, given the price and quality, you can find a much better fish sandwich at Moby Dick. Their onion rings are also on par with, if not better than, those at Hill Street Fish Fry. If you’re looking for tasty fish, great sides, and homemade tartar sauce, I highly recommend going to Cracker Barrel on Friday for their fish night. It’s also a great value compared to other fish fries in town, often costing $15 to $20 less to feed a family of four.

The fish was excellent, but they definitely need to consider reducing portion sizes. The servings were quite small.
