I decided to try this restaurant based on my massage therapist's recommendation, and she was spot on about the quality of the food. We ordered takeout from their Highland location, and the food was ready exactly when they said it would be. I went for the pescado a la parrilla fish dinner, which came with black beans and rice. Everything was exceptional, and I discovered that I really like black beans! My wife also praised her Cuban sandwich highly. I'm in love with this Cuban restaurant and will definitely return!

I ordered takeout from this restaurant last night, and it was absolutely delicious! I tried the Masas de Puerco and the house salad, both of which were exceptional and generous in portion size. The rice and beans were incredibly tasty too. I've been a fan of the Havana Rumba restaurants for many years, but now that I have two young kids, I'm particularly impressed with their kids' menu—there are plenty of options, and our picky eaters polished off everything! I really appreciate that they offer choices beyond the typical fried foods, and their fruit cup is the best we’ve ever had in a kids' meal. Thank you!

The live music was absolutely amazing as soon as you walked in. The restaurant was bustling with energy, which is exactly how it should be. We started with the plantain chips and guacamole, which were a fantastic appetizer. The fresh bread accompanied by herb butter that they serve at the table was simply perfect—I nearly wanted to sneak some of that butter home! I ordered the churrasco steak, and it was cooked to perfection, complemented by delicious chimichurri. This place is definitely a must-visit if you're in the area. The cocktails were just as impressive, and the service was spot on. I will definitely be returning! I also loved the artwork on the walls!

My favorite dish is the Ropa Vieja, which means old clothes in Spanish, and is a flavorful and tender shredded beef dish in a tomato-based sauce. My order had rich, savory, and slightly tangy flavor. The beef was tender and paired with a rich blend of aromatic spices, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Additionally, the moros y Cristianos, a dish consisting of black beans and white rice was seasoned to perfection with spices and herbs resulting in a rich and slightly smoky flavor in every bite. Regardless of the dish you order, Havana Rumba Tapas Bar provides customers a delightful blend of various culinary influences, including Spanish, African, and Caribbean flavors. I highly recommend the ropa vieja (shredded beef), lechón (roast pork), or vaca frita (fried beef). This is a great option for those looking for something different in a lively atmosphere.
