El Nopal Mexican - Louisville

Not my favorite Mexican food but the servers are nice! And the atmosphere is very relaxed. Enjoyed there taquitos but wish they didn't have pepper in them. The queso is yummy. And the chips and salsa are good!

Came here on a Friday at lunch time. We were seated immediately. Our server came to table and quickly brought out drinks. (Water folks, no yummy pics of Margaritas...work day! They have daily lunch and drinks specials! Friday specials were lunch combo stuffed pepper with beans and rice or burrito with beans and rice. Drink special is the split margarita and daiquiri. Looks yummy, but no drinking on a work day. We both ordered off the lunch menu. What a great value!! My dad ordered the lunch chicken fajitas. They came out with three plates for him! Meat and grilled veggies, toppings lettuce, sour cream and guacamole, and plenty of tortillas! So much food and what a great value!! I ordered the tortilla soup. This soup has pico, rice, chicken, and avocado. This serving is huge and comes with tortilla strips. Our lunch came our super quick and it was very cheap for us to eat and the amount of food you get for the money, is awesome!!

Quick, friendly service and delicious chips and salsa what more could you ask for? I think El Nopal is the best Mexican chain restaurant in Louisville and I couldn't believe how fast we received our food at 6:00 on a Saturday night!

I ordered carry out here of a quesadilla fajita grande that was DRIPPING in grease, queso that I though was supposed to be white but was yellow/orange, and burnt taquitos. Not only could we not eat it, but it was so expensive! I had hopes that maybe el nopal had turned around with all their competition, but this location was really disappointing for quality of food and price. Staff seemed nice enough though

This is always a great Mexican food experience. I really love the atmosphere and the service is fast. They offer big 36 ounce beers for cheap price as well. I usually get the combination number 11, which is one burrito, one taco, and one enchilada. It is so good for $8.99. With all that food and free chips and salsa this is an excellent deal. My whole family loves it here and we will be back soon. OLE!
