Excellent food anlove this place. Good food, friendly service.

I have been eating here for years. The food used to be great at great prices. Obviously, prices have gone up everywhere, but prices here are far out pacing others in my opinion. Double cheesebuger is $14+ and add a fry or other side you add several more dollars, then add a drink and your over $20+ bucks. Having to stomach these extreme price increases is one thing, but food quality here has also went down over this time as well. Burgers are routinely dried out, and fries and tots are half cooked, but they look like they burnt up because of likely old grease they are cooked in. This is not a one-off experience, as I have held out posting this review because I have really enjoyed this place for years, but the issues described are after repeat visits with the same outcome. Same food quality issues with other meals, including way overcooked eggs and smaller portions on meals. I had already cut down how often I visit because of pricing and the quality of food, but I am about done altogether as something has changed here and it is not correcting. Service by server was still pretty good and friendly, but that doesn't make up for the other issues.

I've written positive reviews in the past, but last night really frustrated me. The service was okay, but the cooks need to pay attention to the orders and not just do whatever they want. If you request onions with your home fries, they should be included—it's that simple. And when you order your toast to be dry and dark, that's exactly what it should be. The cooks really need to get their act together and prepare the meals properly—no excuses.

Me and a 40 yr friend went for dinner. Slightly crowded but we found a seat. Both of us ordered meatloaf mashed potatoes gravy bread and coleslaw. That days special. It was fire. Huge portions.

This hidden gem offers fantastic food and is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
