C L Don't Need No Sauce - Louisville

You definitely don't need any sauce! I stopped by this restaurant for my lunch break yesterday, October 4, 2023, craving barbecue, and I was not disappointed. I wanted to try the brisket, but it's only available on Saturdays, so I opted for the rib tip dinner with two sides: greens and potato salad. I wasn't really in the mood for the greens, but the potato salad was absolutely delicious. The ribs were fantastic—not overcooked, nicely seasoned, and I received a generous portion that I could easily share! The only thing missing was a toothpick, lol. I will definitely be going back, and I encourage anyone reading this to give it a try!

Very nice and attentive staff. I had yummy beef tips, potato salad and Mac and cheese.The meat was tender with the right amount of smoke. Their sauce (on the side) was mild and slightly sweet.The potato salad is home made and good. The Mac and cheese is really soft and creamy.Just down the street from me…definitely will be back!Kid-friendliness: Very, very casual place!

We are from out of state and just happened by this BBQ restaurant and I have to say, it was an excellent choice on our part. My husband had the rib dinner and the ribs were out of this world good. They were fresh, juicy and outstanding flavor. I myself had cheese burger dinner with 2 sides, potato salad and green beans, all excellent choices. Burger well cooked and potato salad and green beans very well seasoned and you would have thought your mom had made it. I recommend this place whole heartedly. We will re-visit.
