Big Momma's Soul Kitchen - Louisville

Everything was delicious! The chicken is the best I’ve ever had and the catfish is remarkable! Incredible service and the vibe was so kind and welcoming. I would definitely send anyone in the state to this place. Wonderful!Food: 5/5

My husband and I were looking for somewhere local to eat instead of the basic restaurants downtown. We found this place on a google search for local soul food. It definitely did not disappoint! The food was really good and the employees were so nice and welcoming! 10 out of 10 recommend!!Food: 5/5

I usually visit the new Big Momma 's about once every two months, and that is to order their baked chicken and dressing dinner, the dressing is made similar to what I make at home. I usually order greens or green beans, mac and cheese with the dinner. I have been to the new Big Mama 's six times, my order has been incorrect three times, four this Sunday , twice I was given someone else 's order, the others I was given the wrong vegetable. This Sunday May 21st after church I patronized the new Big Mama 's. I checked my order when I got in my car I have learned to do this, because of my past orders they gave me green beans instead of greens , I took the food back into Big Mama 's and let them check my order. I was asked to let them see the receipt which specified greens . Suddenly, I was called out in front of the other customers, by one of the servers. She said; she does this all the time insinuating it was my fault , and told the others at the pick up station to check my receipt to see if I had changed my order. She was very rude, disrespectful and loud. They checked my receipt and and it stated greens . They gave me a bowl with greens , but Hah , when I got home they still had given me green beans I should have checked again!! now I have two orders of green beans. I support our black businesses in the West End of the city. The new Big Mama 's should learn how to respect and speak pleasantly to their customers. They need to check their egos, God don 't like ugly.

Had their fried chicken at the Kentucky derby— there’s something about the fried chicken in Kentucky is just *chefs kiss* Perfectly seasoned, lightly fried to a beautiful golden brown and juicy and tender on the inside. Can’t wait to come back for more.

The young ladies that work there r sweet kids. Went there two weeks ago and tried call back to tell them about my food , couldn't get the on the ph. Now I'm back in town and called them and Ms H said she'd refund my . I took my receipt back and told her I didn't want my money back , just replace my order. And she said to me I thought u didn't like the food. And I said to her with a firm voice . I'm gonna try the food again. She looked at me strange. So I waited over an hr for a replacement order. Again the food had no taste. The baked chicken was dry as a bone, mac cheese had no taste. The young lady told me after bagging my food that they had no cornbread. Wow I guess what I'm saying is I'll never patronize this business ever again
