Against The Grain - Louisville

The atmosphere and location were fantastic. I tried the cauliflower sloppy joe with fries and enjoyed it so much that I returned the next night for the sloppy joe tacos. I would have given them a 5-star rating if there had been more options on the menu.

In principle only for the burger, but at least they have something for vegan. prost!

It is a beautiful place and the staff is great. some vegan options, marked clearly. I have the dirty vegan that contains the beyond meat patty and art cheese, as well as a homemade sauce. I had to say I was disappointed, it was super salty. this place is the place to be right in front of a louisville City football game, so they warn that it will and will remain packed around these times.

I was quite disappointed. A few years ago, when I lived in Louisville/Cincinnati, I frequently visited this restaurant with friends. They offered delicious vegan nachos and an excellent handmade veggie burger, along with a wide variety of quality vegan options on the menu. Recently, I returned to the city to visit family and decided to stop by again. Unfortunately, they've completely revamped their menu since then. Most of the vegan choices have vanished, leaving just a single Beyond Meat burger and a vegan bean chili. Vegetarians might find some options marked on the menu, but I can't speak to their quality. Additionally, their prices have changed; all dishes are now served without sides, which means you'll have to order those separately. Honestly, I didn't feel that the quality matched the prices charged. While I wouldn’t return on my own, if I were with family or friends who aren't vegan or vegetarian, I might consider going if we couldn't find another place.

Fun brewery with meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. Brunch has limited vegan choices but you can get the vegan dirty burger if you ask. It’s delicious!
