A Chau - Louisville

We were searching for a late-night Pho spot and came across A Chau. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The Pho was outstanding. We tried the chicken lemongrass Pho and the chicken Pho, and both had a flavorful broth. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and deliciously tender. Overall, I would rate the food a 5/5.

After indulging in a lot of poor meals and drinks, this place was exactly what we needed. We discovered they were open on Sunday and both of us were craving pho. The broth was delicious and full of flavor. The prices were quite reasonable as well. Overall, this restaurant was just what I needed to recharge before my flight out of town. Food: 5/5.

The food at the restaurant was good, and it was nice and clean. They offer some tasty Thai dishes as well. However, my main issue was quite frustrating: I called in an order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived after that time, it was obvious they hadn’t even started preparing my food. I understand they might have had issues with people not showing up for orders, but if that’s the case, they should require customers to pay in advance. While they do have online ordering, I opted to call it in, so my wait time ended up being over 40 minutes instead of the promised 20. That’s not acceptable. Also, there’s a place called Vietnam Kitchen just down the road, which has better food, though they are only open two days a week now. I’d recommend going there instead of this restaurant.
