Proud Mary's - Louisburg

This place is no longer in business. And that is a shame. They have been close for two months. You missed your chance.

Ate lunch there today. Good small town atmosphere. The food is good. My son had the winnie burger. (Only for the hardy). They make a baked potato with bbq beef or pork that is worth the trip for. Daily specials. Kids menu. Friendly staff......sadly now closed

Pleasantly surprised. Haven't heard a lot about it other than the mention of a small menu. Plenty of choices for our family. We all had something different. My husband got the Proud Mary burger and said at first glance he wasn't too sure, but once he took a bite he sale the flavor was all there. I had the Italian sausage sandwich with marinara sauce and warm cheesy potato salad. Very good. The peppers and onions were freshly cooked so they still had some crunch which I love. My oldest son had the pulled pork sandwich with BBQ sauce and baked beans..ate every bite. My youngest had the ham and turkey with a baked potato...gone. The staff and owners are local and friendly. Almost gave it a 4 because of the breaded mushrooms. They were so-so...not a lot of flavor. It does say they are baked but I guess I prefer fried. Would definitely recommend.

The menu is small but the food is great! The staff was very friendly. I had the burger that is topped with sliced frankfurter and it was very tasty. The bbq beans and warm twice baked potato salad were great tasting sides!
