Lucille's - Louisburg

As Lucille's Diner was a excellent place. But 4 years after finding this restaurant the Lucille quit. The staff was the same but quality went downhill as Misty's Kitchen. Closed only after I was there two times. It closed a while back either at end of last year or in January. Place is empty now.

So in love with this place!! My husband and I are from different small towns and now live in Olathe. We often venture out on the weekends to find little gems and this place did not disappoint. This is old fashioned, down right, comfort food for us. It was so good. I was sad that their cinnamon rolls were out, cause I would have eaten those even though I was soooo full. My husband showed me a picture from Yelp while we were eating. The potatoes were real mashed potatoes. The okra was fresh fried okra. The biscuits and gravy tasted like they were made from scratch and the eggs finally found a place that knows that eggs should not be rubber! I am in love. Me and my family will be back. And now Cracker Barrel if 100% dead to me.

I love the theme, food, and everything about it! I like to go here if I'm in the mood for a good cheeseburger.

Food was great and I was super impressed that they offered a cream gravy for the biscuits and gravy along with the sausage gravy. I am a vegetarian and sometimes biscuits and gravy is just something I am craving for breakfast and it can be hard to find a restaurant with cream gravy! My only complaint was it took forever to get our food and the restaurant was not even that busy...took around 45-50 minutes to get biscuits and gravy, hash browns, pancakes and bacon. Even though it took a bit to get our food we will be going back because their food was awesome!

Cute little diner. Food is good most days every once in while they serve burnt stuff. (I mainly notice that on the weekend) So I order during the week (call and pick it up to bring home) and the cook is spot on then. I have had mostly everything on the menu. Good comfort food. I think my only complaint is they never have cinnamon rolls. I ask every single time I order and they only had them available the very first time I went there. Disappointing. But otherwise I like the place.
