This is a stop! found this small place on our bike trip and due to the support of the military we decided to support it. we went in and out.

Stopped here for a quick bite while in town, and was glad to see that it hasn’t change a bit and weathered the pandemic. The place is a perfect little piece of Americana and a great place to visit and a good place for a quick bite. The service was top of the line, quick and thorough. The food was good, interesting but unfortunately had a some preparation issues being almost overdone consistently. That being said it was still good. The fried green tomatoes were good, needed a little more seasoning in the breading but overall a much better version than many places that do a battered fried green tomato. Again I am hard on fried green tomatoes, it is just a personal thing. The hot dogs were in my opinion overcooked, but again not inedible. The sauce was good, with a bbq sauce base taste that actually worked fairly well with the slaw and cheese additional toppings. The atmosphere is exactly perfect for the venue, that being a small rural bar and grill. Keep it simple at the bar though as the offerings are a little limited, but super affordable.
