Classico Italian Mama's Grits - Loudon

Arrived at 6:15, it 's now 7:45. Server was slow and didn 't check on us often, I think out of embarrassment for how slow the kitchen was moving. We sent half our family home due to the wait. Shortly after they left, the server dropped off the food, but two of the items were missing all together. When the owner was addressed about the lateness of the food she stated we should be understanding of them and we don 't need your business.

I found this place this year and it has gotten a lot of my business. I always get the pizza and sometimes gyros and subs to go, so it is hard to rate the place on being waited on. However, to me the pizza is awesome. It is a think crust but not paper thin, just enough to give support to the cheese and sauce and whatever else you prefer. The pepperonis have a little bit of spiciness to them but taste great. More expensive then the other local places but the taste is worth the extra few bucks. Unless someone has the address or is out randomly wondering around, they probably won't find this place.

I'm surprised no one has reviewed Classico. This place was very busy on a Monday night. They had a lot of to go orders as well. I would give another star if they had more staff. It could have been just unusually busy. I had a calzone. It was very yummy.

Well run family restaurant that has been a fixture in Tellico Village since March 2011. Very clean place with very good food, and everything is hand made with top notch ingredients. Lots of daily specials, but the main menu is full of traditional Italian dishes all reasonably priced. We've always had good service, but Classico's popularity, especially in the early evening, can sometimes slow things down a bit when everyone arrives at the same time. That's not very common.

This place is always excellent except when the owners are not there. The food was good as always but the server was nothing short of a snot!!! She acted like we disturbed her from doing nothing! This place should be 5 stars but not with her working there
