On the Dock Eatery - Lot 24

Loved the intention, the service was excellent, and eating very well. I'd probably go back. it is a very basic seafood restaurant, like those I like to visit in maine

This was our first day in the pei and we wanted the pei national park near and north rustico that we had heard was nice. we originally wanted to eat in another restaurant, but when we saw that we decided to try it instead. so glad we did. we have a table directly at the water, right behind the check-in at the desk. it was a bit windy, but the exterior had plexiglas to block a part of the wind and our table had a cover so that it blocked the sun. we both appreciated. the greeting/the front of the house was courteous and super friendly. as well our server was attentive, friendly and fast. there were four of us, but we ordered only two dishes of fish and chips and lobster rolls. both were excellent. the fish and chips were the best of the trip and we expected that others in maine, nowa scotia and pei are so good. they were not. not only was the haddock perfectly boiled and perfectly seasoned, but the crust was crunchy/crime and not a bit greasy. the chips were also particularly, very crisp and tasteful. the lobster was one of the best we had filled with lobster with a light dress. the atmosphere outside was beautiful. we saw some fishing boats in and go and just enjoyed the beautiful weather. great place! tipps: sit outside. go also the water area, see the lighthouse, the beach and the shops on the water. hospital factor: top notch. friendly, attentive and accommodating. fast. I love this place and wanted to go to dinner in this night, but was overtaken.

I wrote the first review of on the dock when it was opened in 2016. Today, this was waiting for an external relatiw short and the service attentive and capable. as vegetarian I had a grilled cheese sandwich on my first visit. this time there was a choice for vegetarian veggieburger or gnocchi. the gnocchi was fabulous, even seemed to be gently fried. the fish and chips are still generous and really good. the one area that could be improved is the limited selection of beer (only three). the cost was appropriate.

The restaurant had a cool, beachy atmosphere and the food, drinks, and service were all excellent. We particularly enjoyed the mackerel, fish and chips, scallop burger, and lobster roll. The margaritas were also a hit! We were pleased to see that they had a children's menu and our kids' meals came out first. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant!

We had the best fish tacos for the second year in a row at this restaurant. We were happy to return and enjoy the large portion, high quality, and very friendly service. Thank you once again!
