For our main courses, we ordered venison and halibut. The venison was cooked to absolute perfection, and you could truly taste the chef's passion for quality food. Each component of the dish was complex yet flawlessly executed, and it was simply delicious. The halibut was also perfectly cooked—fresh, flavorful, and every element harmonized beautifully with the fish without overpowering it. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. A true treasure in Lostwithiel, this pristine little restaurant offers a fine dining experience that far exceeds expectations given its price and location. The food was fresh and delightful, featuring a menu that balances modern and classic dishes. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the portion sizes were larger than I anticipated. The staff were attentive and professional, providing us with excellent service. I appreciated that there was no pressure to leave a tip, yet I found myself wanting to tip more than ever! This is a rare find, and it definitely deserves 5 stars.
