Palapa Joe's - Los Ingenios

Hoped the Chinese chicken salad would be better, but was ok. The tortilla soup was ok. Friday nites the old timers play fun old rock and roll songs. Small dance floor. Seems like a place for everybody to convene and they like that a lot.

They serve good burgers, I had the blue cheese one. Great service and blues nights. And probably other music too.

At first the female musician was far from it. No pleasant experience. Secondly, the food delivery was so slow that we stopped our order after we waited for 1.5 hours. We returned for another attempt and could be served within 30 minutes. The food was average.

Consistent really good pizzas and great drinks. Best of all is the nightly entertainment always live and not too loud.

We have Thanksgiving dinner here since 2015, except of course for the last year. Make your reservations early if you want a place at the table. We always prefer the afternoon seats, partly because our friends from Barra usually accompany us. Music is provided during the busy season. This year we will leave the city before it begins, but we recommend visiting Palapa Joe's for food and the atmosphere. This year, in addition to coming for Thanksgiving, we have stopped watching some of the Monday Night football game. In the past we enjoyed seeing the game Michigan v. Ohio State as well. Usually there are some local fans hanging and cheering with which it is fun. Willy's Drinks Esp. The margaritas are the best.
