Southern Kitchen Los Gatos

If you're looking for an authentic Southern breakfast experience with excellent service, this is the place to be! It's a cozy spot, so be prepared for a line during the weekends, but it's definitely worth the wait. The menu is extensive, featuring every dish you can imagine along with some unique options (don't miss the fried chicken waffles!). The portion sizes are generous, and the food is absolutely delicious. With unlimited coffee refills, fresh juice, mimosas, and a variety of hot sauces, this is one fantastic café!

This place is the Bomb! I haven't had such a delicious breakfast in a very long time. Food here has such depth of flavors, that your mouth will keep watering throughout the meal. Delicious Coffee, Mouth watering Omelettes and Scrambles and a Southern Hospitality to match. Coming back for more...

I met three friends for breakfast and was fortunate to snag one of the few outdoor tables for four. Unfortunately, it was situated on the narrow sidewalk instead of the new "parklet" in front, making it feel a bit cramped, especially when pedestrians walked by or gathered at the entrance. My Belgian waffle was perfectly cooked and topped with a generous portion of fresh strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple, along with a drizzle of syrup—it was delightful. However, I wish I had requested my side of bacon to be extra crispy, as it was a bit undercooked. My friends ordered a mushroom omelette with hash browns and toast, traditional Mexican Huevos Rancheros, and a taco salad from the lunch menu, and they all said they enjoyed their meals. The service was friendly, but the responsiveness was only average. The total bill for four came to just over $100, including tax, tip, and a 3% surcharge for credit card payments. Aside from the somewhat soggy bacon (which was $10 for four slices!), I believe our meals provided good value for the quality and quantity of food we received.

This charming little restaurant located in a corner of a building in downtown Los Gatos offers a fantastic breakfast and lunch menu that will tantalize your taste buds. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and faced a long wait, but it was absolutely worth it for the delicious signature shrimp grits and the Santa Fe Scramble we ordered while seated outdoors. The cornbread was particularly delightful, and the iced tea made a perfect pairing. Our waitress, Debbie—affectionately referred to as "Mama" by the kitchen staff—was extremely friendly and took great care of us. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent food. We had the chicken and waffles and the bacon waffels. Everything was huge in size. My only complaint was that by the time waffles arrived, they were too cold to melt the butter. Price was good, food was delicious, service good and attentive. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day . Do not order side dishes unless you eat like a linebacker. Each serving is enough for two.
