Zankou Chicken - Los Angeles

The simplicity of middle eastern cooking with the humble rotisserie chicken is what Zankou is all about here in Southern California. In a style layered with Garlic and other basic spices, this SoCal favorite can be ordered in pieces or simply take-away a whole chicken. This roast chicken has available the usual accompaniments such as pickled vegetables, a whipped garlic sauce, hummus, and pita. Also available are wraps, and beef luleh if chicken isn't your hankering. The Zankou chicken isn't the crispy rotisserie like others, and unlike others the subtle hint of middle eastern flavors is where this is at. Again, the seasoning isn't bold; it is a subtle blend to highlight the chicken and good alternative to other fast food. A favorite location for its cleanliness and friendly staff. A quick bite and/or takeaway after a busy work day is an easy stop.

They are getting better. I don't know if it's a new management or if they have new vendors that supply them with different kind of chicken .

First time here. Customer service was excellent. The place was clean and the food was delicious and fresh. Next time in the area, ill definitely be back! A+

After a 13 hr day I came to my favorite location to have some quality food. Beautiful April greeted me with a bright smile, took my order and was kind enough to bring it to my table when it was ready. I ordered the wrong sandwich with beef and asked if I could exchange it with chicken. She exchanged it immediately and served it in 5 mnts. The staff was very kind and friendly to all customers. When I left the restaurant the kitchen boys and April waved to me and asked if I enjoyed my food : This was the best part of my day . Thank you so much for high quality service.
